it amazes me how I watched 100s of videos BEFORE I decided to go do these butterfly locs and not a single video mentioned anything about pain you'll experience. Please please be careful with the blow dry brush. I had to get about 3 inches cut due to breakage caused by my use of the brush. Dry your hair about 80% with your Dyson first, then go in with the brush!! ❤

I wrap my lock with the fokd over method!!! I NEVER EVER crochet the wrapping hair thru my base!!! That is Jutlst TOO MUCH DAMN Tension!!!

I lowkey think that these products and natural hair community hacks emphasize protein because protein gives automatic results...its so easy to get protein overload and natural hair products are the culprit. I went back to using the products I used when I was relaxed and I'm waiting to see if it makes a difference.

They never have headaches and their hair is laid. Your hair can look great without so much pain and tension. These braiders be playing themselves. It’s not right!
